Bila dilihat spec prosesor bawaan kita yaitu intel B960 yang menggunakan tipe PGA maka jenis ini sangat bisa untuk diupgrade, jadi kalau mau upgrade prosesor seperti apakah yang bisa digunakan?
Dari data di atas terlihat Prosesor yang diakui pada laptop ini yaitu seri intel generasi 2, jadi kalau mau upgrade ya disesuaikan dengan seri nya paling tinggi i7 gen2 misalnya seri 2670QM,, lalu kita lihat lagi chipset yang ada yaitu
Intel HM65 Express Chipset, lihat link untuk spesifikasinya.
Pertanyaan nya apabila mau upgrade intel i7 gen 2 apa semua i7 gen 2 bisa masuk?
Ada 40 jenis prosesor sandy bridge gen 2 yang mungkin bisa menjadi alternatif baik itu upgrade ataupun downgrade alias mungkin untuk dijadikan pergantian prosesor,, tapi umumnya seri belakangnya ada tulisan M atau QM dan ingat harus jenis yang sama-sama pakai pin atau model PGA ya. Selamat mencoba dan resiko tanggung sendiri, OK.
Sebagai opsi lain untuk upgrade laptop mari kita gunakan SSD sebagai pengganti HDD biar lebih ngebut loading OS nya.
Terakhir untuk harga bekas prosesor i7 gen2 di tahun 2022 masih dikisaran 800 ribuan, i5 gen 2 dikisaran 400 ribuan dan i3 dikisaran 200 ribuan,, silakan dipertimbangkan.
